About Me

Professional psychologist & relationship counselor

I am an optimist who strongly believes that life itself is the biggest gift! Striving to make every moment worth it!

I graduated with a degree in software engineering. Later, switched careers to pursue my interest in counselling and hold a Masters in Human Resource Management, MA in Clinical Psychology and Diploma in Child Counselling and Marriage & Family Therapy. I am a student of Vedic astrology and have keen interest in human developmental history, cricket and cooking.

I have been working with children, adolescents, individuals and couples as a counsellor and trainer since 2010. I also conduct workshops and trainings for institutions on topics related to mental health, parenting and developing healthy relationships. I wish to actively contribute in the domain of emotional well-being of women at various stages in their life.

I align with the humanistic school of psychology. How individuals perceive and interpret events in their life is extremely important and a major deciding factor of the quality of life. The person-centred approach helps the clients lead full lives of better self-understanding, effectively manage work-life balance and reduce their defensiveness, guilt, and insecurity.

The focus of my counselling sessions is to have more positive and comfortable relationships with self, our life partner and others, with an increased capacity to experience and express feelings.
